Quick resolution in road traffic accident for our client AB
Date of Settlement: December 2025
£35,980 settlement figure pre-proceedings.
Our client AB was the driver of a vehicle travelling along Upper Springfield Road when the at-fault driver failed to stop and give way. This resulted in a collision with the passenger side of AB’s vehicle, causing significant damage to the car and injury to AB.
Injuries and Impact
As a result of the collision, AB developed whiplash-type injuries, leading to physical discomfort and restricted movement. In addition to the physical injuries, AB experienced nervousness when driving and travel-related anxiety, which affected confidence on the road and day-to-day mobility.
Liability and Outcome
Our team acted quickly to issue a letter of claim against the at-fault driver’s insurer and to secure an admission of liability. Thanks to paralegal Michelle Hamilton’s hard work, engineering evidence was quickly gathered and served. Our team then negotiated a pre-action settlement of the case and secured compensation for the client’s injuries, car damage and recovered the cost of the hire bill.
This case highlights the importance of thorough evidence gathering and early action in road traffic accident claims, ensuring AB received appropriate compensation for both physical injuries and losses arising from a collision.
