Liam McDonald

Liam graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2012 with a 2.1. degree in Law. He has been working with us since 2012 specialising in Litigation particularly compensation claims. Liam acts for client’s in a wide variety of claims including Accidents at Work, Road Traffic Accidents and contractual disputes in the High Court.

Liam has successfully obtained compensation for Housing Executive tenants throughout Northern Ireland who have suffered and lived in horrendous conditions owing to defective and or ineffective Cavity Wall Insulation. Tell-tale signs include houses that are hard to heat, have black mould on the walls and furnishings. Quite often Tenants have to replace wallpaper, mattresses and bedding and redecorate their home because of the severity of the mould. In Court, Liam has successfully represented and argued for Tenants so that the Court ordered the Housing Executive to reinsulate their property and compensate them £1,000s of pounds for household items which have been damaged as a result of the mould. Make a free enquiry with our specialised team here.

Liam also specialises in High Court Divorce and Children cases. No parent could ever imagine that a Social Worker or Social Services will become involved with them or their Children. This is unfortunately an all too common occurrence. If you or a family member require assistance in a case involving Social Services or the Trust – be it a Care Case, Adoption Proceedings, Shaken Baby Syndrome or International Child Abduction, please contact Liam immediately for a free initial consultation.
