Just under £20,400 Won for Passenger in Road Traffic Collision

Our client was a passenger in a non-fault accident where the vehicle was hit by another driver who failed to give way in February 2024. The third-party driver collided with the front of our client’s vehicle resulting in just under £8,000 in vehicle damage and whiplash and psychiatric injuries for the driver.
Our client, the passenger, sustained physical and psychiatric injuries from the collision. The third-party insurance company made a pre-medical offer of £2,500 which was rejected by the client. GP notes were then gathered and our firm engaged with A&E Consultant and Consultant Psychiatrist. Once reports were received, they were issued onto the third-party and our case handler negotiated a fair settlement for the client. The TPI returned with an initial offer of £10,000 for our client’s injuries, however, this was negotiated and after further negotiations, our case handler was able to agree £19,000 for our clients physical and psychiatric injuries.
The client also wanted to claim for loss of earnings as the extent of their injuries meant they had to take time off work. Our case handler worked to calculate the loss of earnings sustained by the client and was able to win just under £1,400 in the full and final settlement of their claim.
This case settled for £19,000 personal injury and just under £1,400 loss of earnings, totalling to just under £20,400 which was negotiated pre-proceedings. This compensation was a fair amount for the injuries sustained by our client and was concluded in just 12 months! The client was delighted with this outcome for their PI claim!
Review from the Client
I cannot praise you all highly enough for your professionalism from start to finish and for Liam taking the lead when I was first exploring the possibility of making a claim and ringing around different Solicitors. He was the only one who took the time to take a Statement from me when I hadn’t decided what to do & kept in contact with me, encouraging me until I was strong enough to go ahead.
Throughout the whole process, everything was made stress free for me until the very end and I was absolutely delighted with the outcome.
